GabbyAware Privacy Policy
This policy explains how GabbyAware collects, uses, displays, and protects information while providing situational awareness.
Effective: August 1, 2026
About GabbyAware
GabbyAware is a situational-awareness service operated by Eloquence Digital, LLC. It gathers and organizes selected public information to identify community topics, emerging issues, and potential operational impacts. Public discussion is treated as a lead to assess—not automatically as verified fact, community consensus, or evidence of wrongdoing. AI-assisted analysis is not represented as active unless a separately approved and auditable workflow is enabled.
Information we collect
Depending on the feature being used, GabbyAware may process:
- Public-source information: material published by government agencies, news organizations, public websites, and public social-media pages, groups, or profiles.
- Public social content: public posts and comments, display names or handles, timestamps, brief excerpts, source-page names, and links to the original public content.
- Account information: a registered user's name, email address, role, and authentication-provider identifier when social sign-in is used.
- Access-request information: a requester's name, email address, optional organization, requested access level, intended use, verification status, and administrator review record.
- Operational records: source submissions, approvals, administrative actions, collection results, email-delivery events, and security logs.
- Technical information: standard server records such as IP address, browser type, access time, requested page, and error or security events.
GabbyAware is not designed to collect private messages, content from private groups or profiles, social-media passwords, or information that is not lawfully available to the service.
How we use information
- Identify and summarize community topics and potential situational-awareness signals.
- Compare public discussion with official sources and reported coverage.
- Display attributed public examples and links when helpful for context.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, source approvals, and administrative workflows.
- Send account, invitation, security, and other transactional communications.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce service policies.
GabbyAware does not sell personal information, serve behaviorally targeted advertising, rank or endorse political candidates, or use its data for donor targeting.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by service providers that support hosting, email delivery, authentication, security, data processing, and site operations. They receive only the access reasonably needed to provide those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Public-source material displayed by GabbyAware remains attributable to its original source. Visiting an external link is governed by that destination's own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including operational continuity, audit requirements, security, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction, and data deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information associated with GabbyAware by emailing privacy@gabbyaware.com. Please use the email address associated with your account and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
To request removal of public Facebook or other public social content displayed by GabbyAware, send the direct GabbyAware page link and the original source link when available. Removing a copy or excerpt from GabbyAware does not delete the original content from the platform or publisher that hosts it; requests concerning the original content should be directed to that platform or publisher.
We will respond within a reasonable period and may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to document the request.
Children's privacy
GabbyAware is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as GabbyAware changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated when appropriate.
